Day 84 And Still No Sign of Ricky Holland

Story Created: September 22, 2005

Today is day 84 of Ricky Holland’s disappearance. There have been no news stories published in the Lansing State Journal, Williamston’s local newspaper, regarding Ricky’s disappearance or about the investigation. Nothing from the parents. Nothing. If it were my child missing I would be shouting, screaming using every avenue available to me to get the word out, to find my child. I wonder why we do not hear anything from Tim and Lisa Holland. I wonder why they have not appeared on GMA or on Greta or Nancy Grace. I wonder why they have an attorney.

Williamston, Michigan is located in Ingham County in the East Lansing metro area. It’s estimated population as of 2003 was 3,784 people. As of today there are 15 registered sex offenders listed in the Michigan Sex Offender Registry for the Williamston, MI zip code of 48895. Although sex offenders are known to move for a variety of reasons, one has moved out of the area since I last checked a month ago.

The nearby city of Haslett, Michigan had an estimated population in 2000 of 11,283 people. As of today there are a total of 10 registered sex offenders listed in the Michigan Sex Offender Registry for the Haslett, MI zip code of 48840.

The reasons I am making note of the sex offenders in the immediate area of Richard Holland’s home should be obvious. If Ricky did in fact leave his home in the middle of the night, there is a good possiblity that he could have met up with one of the 25 sex offenders who live within at least ten miles of his home. Also, I have a web site for Ricky that has a counter that keeps track of the visitors to the site. I have noticed one visitor in particular close by to Ricky’s home has been a frequent visitor. I suppose it could be just someone interested in the disappearance and that person wants to keep up with the news. My site is not easy to find on the vast internet. I don’t see someone going to the trouble of finding a web site just to find out information on the case when they can read the local newspaper. I also was a bit troubled because someone visited the site from Detroit Water and Sewerage. I am trying to figure out or picture myself working for that company and surfing the internet for information on the Richard Holland disappearance.

I don’t know. Maybe I watch too much Courttv.

I am rambling now so I will close. If you know something about the disappearance of Ricky Holland from Williamston, MI please call Law Enforcement. Email me if you would be willing to do so. Just don’t keep quiet.
