Witness Testimony – Ricky Holland’s Pediatrician
Story Created: September 28, 2006
Today’s court activity included the testimony of Ricky’s pediatrician, Dr. Jon Lake. According to Dr. Lake’s testimony he treated Ricky on an ongoing basis beginning in January 2001. He also testified it was unusual that he would not have continued to see a child of Ricky’s age on a regular basis after the last documented visit of September 2002.
The interesting thing about Dr. Lake’s testimony was his observation that Lisa Holland appeared to him to be a loving mother to Ricky, never suspecting Ricky to be an abused child.
Dr. Lake’s testimony proved part of the Prosecution’s case – Ricky Holland did not receive regular medical attention.
Today was a short court day. Testimony resumes tomorrow in the courtroom of Judge Paula Manderfield in Lansing, MI.

I have no doubt that this child’s “disorders” resulted from the ongoing abuse. How Ricky did not just did not completely crack is beyond me. I was so sad in hearing about Ricky hitting himself. Obviously he had a self-loathing which perpetuated from all the emotional abuse and being not wanted for all those years.
If this monster gets off, there is no justice. I have emailed the prosecutor’s office myself and I promote all to do so. There needs to be justice for this child.

All you have to do is click on the link, and send a message regarding a fair trial and justice for Ricky. Tell him to get help in the court room. The way things are going, I am afraid that if it continues, Lisa will walk.
