Lack of Attention to the Blogs
I have been ill for the past few weeks and have been unable to keep up with the blogs. I was just released from the hospital on Friday and I am awaiting the results of tests. I am also facing surgery in the near future. What that surgery will entail depends in part the result of the tests.
Please be patient with me. I will be back to my normal blogging routine when I get my health back on track. One good thing is I quit smoking in late March and I am still cigarette free.

Memorial for Ricky Open to the Public
Casey Caswell, Ricky’s biological mother, is holding a memorial service for Ricky this month. She invites anyone to attend who would like to pay their respects to Ricky. Casey asks that if you plan to attend, please leave a message stating so in the comments section of this blog.

Time: 2 p.m.
Location: 1145 Princeton Avenue, Lansing, MI 48915
The location is a private residence because the limit for attendees at the cemetery is set at 10 - 15 persons. Casey expects more people will want to pay their respects and that is the reason for the memorial being held at her private residence.
